Hello,
I have a slight issue with my HP Deskjet 5940 printer. Indeed, as mentioned in the title, when I print, I get irregular white lines on the page, which results in some lines of text being cut off at the bottom.
I thought it might be a cartridge problem, but with a new one, the result was even worse.
Do you have any idea what I could do to resolve the issue?
Thank you.
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 50.0

A good head cleaning, or maybe two or more, should (we hope) be enough to solve your problem. Now, I don’t know if you can see where this tool is ^^

Unfortunately, I don't have the equipment to manually clean my printer cartridges. Is it not possible to do an automatic cleaning? That option was available in older versions of Windows.

It still exists, but the options depend on the manufacturer, not on Windows. Go to "Start," then to "Devices and Printers." Right-click on your printer, you will find "Printer Properties," and there you should find a "Maintenance" tab.
