    If, instead of jumping on the first bone you found to gnaw on, you had actually scrolled down the page, you would have found the solution!

    Have you tried going to http://www.sosremotes.com/?
    
    Wallis remotes are not true universal remotes. They are programmed by Wallis to function like the original remote.
    Therefore, they do not require a code like real TCU remotes do. But they only work for one brand and (sometimes several) models of that brand.

Dear friend,
I have the same problem as you, and on the forum, I saw that a guy had noted the phone number. So, I called, and a super nice person sent me the user manual for my remote by fax.
Don't hesitate to call them; their fax number is 04-74-61-22-91 and the phone number is 04-74-46-06-94.

and of course I don't have the manual and since I changed my TV...a Toshiba...I'm lost!

It's the brand of your TV. I suppose you know it.
And the number (or the letters and numbers) of your model should be found on the back of the device.

  They are the same for all Wallis universal remote controls.
  
  I'm detailing this for you and for everyone who comes after and who might not be able to find it on their own.
  
  Go to the website HTTP://SOSREMOTES.COM
  Click on the remote control model.
  Click on Setup.
  Enter the brand and model number of the device to be controlled.
  Click on "Click"
  Do what is explained.
  
  It's really not complicated to find or to do.
  And unlike most other remote brands, there aren’t several code numbers to try before finding the right one.
  
  And for those who can't even manage that, just call 04 74 61 10 88.
  It's not even a premium rate number!
