HDD password issue

I found this software that can remove the password from the hard drive while keeping the data.
Unfortunately, it's paid and I can't afford it right now.

This software is not a boot disk, so I assume it needs to be done from another PC by connecting the locked hard drive externally.
Again, I'll have to invest in an external SATA rack xD.

Well, ultimately, digging a bit makes it downright unfeasible.
This passage specifies that the faulty disk must be connected internally, directly to the motherboard...
And also that this tool doesn't work with certain recent laptops.

In short, it looks like a real hassle.

I think I'll have to buy a brand new hard drive and get a new Windows.

Thank you for the information. I had the same problem, but I flashed the hard drive with Forenzer Disc
(to boot, you need to unplug the hard drive, boot as soon as it boots, then plug the hard drive back in). However, it turned out not to work because it gives me an error (file not copied). Then another friend told me to use Kenopix.

Hello, you must have encrypted your hard drive with third-party software or someone made a mistake with some software. I could advise you on a factory reset, but I hope you have backed up your documents.

I have successfully identified the problem but the issue, and not the least, is that this damn InsydeH20 rev.3.0 BIOS is much more sophisticated than most standard BIOS. To save you time, I will list what it has already resisted:

_ BIOS RESET in general, radical
_ BIOS FLASH & CMOS RESET same
_ and the classic power off
==> so the problem does not come from the BIOS but from the HDD itself.

When the computer starts, in the SETUP "F2" it does not allow me to change the BOOT order, the default order is unchangeable. I’m afraid that my only resort is low-level formatting. But how do I do this on a master HDD and moreover with a single partition?
