Where is the battery located on a HP Compaq 6830s laptop?

Hello,
I lost my HP password, and it was advised to remove the battery for a few minutes to reset everything, but I can’t find where it is... If anyone knows well, I would appreciate a little help, please...

    Ok thanks.. I had started to open it and it's good I found it... Do you know the procedure to follow to reset it please?!! They explained it to me but I'm useless and I forgot everything.

    I don't know the procedure to follow, the only thing I know about this battery is that it allows you to save the BIOS; if you remove the battery, you will restore the original BIOS (it should already be that way for you)
    For that, you need to remove the battery for about twenty seconds and then put it back, that's all I know about this topic, sorry.

      Hi, just remove the battery for a few long seconds, then put it back in; the BIOS will reset itself. If that doesn't work, you need to do it again and wait a bit longer, there you go.

    You need to open your PC, it's located on the motherboard, it's a flat battery that is about 2cm in diameter.

      It's not complicated, the password is supposed to be in your head... No, I'm just kidding, of course LOL. All you have to do is call HP customer support, they will guide you through the procedure (very simple, free) to retrieve your code. Of course, they will need to verify that you are indeed the owner, which might be complicated since you don’t even have the manual explaining where the BIOS battery is located... But I could be wrong, of course. No need to reply with a long, poorly spelled paragraph explaining that you're well-intentioned, that the world is scary if we can no longer help each other, and other nonsense: if you're well-intentioned, just follow the procedure, period.

    MwetMwet, it looks like you have nothing to do all day... I am THE owner of MY PC... you see, if everyone calls customer support every time, I don't see the point of such sites, and then you will struggle so much that you won't be able to correct people's spelling mistakes anymore... By the way, my § is full of rules for you... and of course, you don't need to tire yourself replying to me and writing your § well... saluuu man...
