Duplex printing in the same location

Good evening,

I would like to ask you a question today because I have a rather important question (at least for my situation...). Is it possible to print double-sided on a sheet with a standard home printer, putting everything that is printed in the same place?

Let me explain: I would like to make cards and print them directly onto cardstock, but the problem is that when I print, the text is printed upside down (normal) and to the right (if I face the printer). Then I flip the sheet over and reprint the next part. However, just like the first sheet, it will print with the text upside down and to the right. But my front side, due to the fact that the sheet was flipped to print on the back, ends up on the left (if I face the printer)!

Hence my question: is it possible to align one text to the right and the other to the left? This would save paper, glue, and time (less cutting...).

There you go, I hope I have been clear, and thank you for your future replies :)
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Sorry: it's all beyond me!
In my long life, I've never seen anything printed that wasn't created by software or imported by software...
But I'm willing to learn! So explain to me how you do it, first to print just one side.
Thanks in advance.
