Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.4

You plug your USB stick into a USB port
I recommend the third port because the second one doesn't work for me, and if it's a video, you go to videos; if it's an image, you go to music, just kidding, it's images and music in music!!!
You'll see your USB stick, and when you're on it, press the triangle and click on show all!
