Hello, I have to take the IT assistant technician exam in June and I would like to know if someone could guide me on the oral and written tests, because no one in my training location can tell us how it will go, how to write the DSPP, and above all, we are not prepared at all..! Thank you in advance.

Hello Sabrina.
I am at AFPA in Orléans, and we will be doing our TAI on June 10 and 11. Regarding us, a presentation in front of the jury of the internship report will be made (oral presentation). Afterwards, a small practical test will be done (probably administration with shares, rights, etc... basically administration).
Here we are also not ready, but the jury wants to have techies in front of them... I mean, people who know what they are talking about, organized people, trustworthy people for a boss.
I wish you success, dear AFPA'ien :d.
Keep me posted on the updates, thanks.

I wanted to know if I don't find an internship, will I still get my diploma?
Hello,
We are a handful of interns taking our exam at the beginning of July 2009, and we are all very disappointed with the training we have received and the very little information our "so-called" trainer has given us.
When we can get coherent information….
We are significantly behind on the modules.
For example, in module 2, more than 70% of the practical work could not be completed due to lack of functioning equipment and software.
For module 3, since we have complained so much about our delay and lack of materials, we have spent a few days back on module 2 with little progress, and we skimmed over module 3 in less than 3 weeks at most for some, who, while searching for their PAE, skimmed through 2 weeks without seeing the installation of Windows Server 2003 or getting to know how Active Directory works.
For the exam, we have asked the teacher or the management to commit to providing us with a certificate to present at the exam indicating the gaps and delays we have encountered.
We'll see.
In the meantime, could you please tell us how it went for those who took their exam in June, especially how it was structured in terms of time and modules?
Thank you for reassuring us.
Best regards,
Farfoil

The final exam is divided into 3 parts
1 practical: you are given 3 cases to handle corresponding to the 3 modules of the training (the different cases are provided on paper) and you are asked to execute tasks
2 situational assessment in front of a jury (2 or 3 people) where you are asked to perform tasks on a computer, such as connecting a workstation with a virtualized OS to another server workstation running 2003 (that's what I had)
3 oral examination where they talk to you about what you did during the exam and then about your internship in the company; you need to prove that you want it and that you love it. If you have already found a job in IT, that influences the jury in your favor (in your internship report, include a section "job offers" and list the offers you have. There are quotas so some will be rejected, those who have found jobs are given priority and obtain the title.

Hello,
I am surprised to read a response!!
Well, from our side, your thoughts are quite accurate unfortunately!!
Another thing that was supposed to evolve and has remained the same!!
I was at AFPA in Beaumont...63000 and yes, I passed my exam!!
It was tough!!
Indeed, there were about fifteen of us and we submitted a surveillance commission because I won’t dwell on the lack of equipment, qualified staff, and their presence!! And a "I don't care" attitude worthy of the Romans!!
Having set the "fire"... figuratively!! at the center, they were eager for this training to go away!!
One piece of advice, indeed do work at home and in businesses! You will learn 300% MORE LIKE THAT
Come on, be brave!
One last word, if you can take the training above, don’t hesitate, the teacher is more professional (Evelyne) or otherwise, run away......

I completely agree. I am taking the TAI training at Afpa in Lomme. There is a lack of direction, supervision, and above all, the teaching is poor! I am disappointed with Afpa.
That said, I want to obtain my diploma (it's off to a very bad start).
Do you have any tutorial recommendations and possibly an example of a TAI exam?
Thank you.
