Add text in Word doc without shifting

Hello
I am setting up a catalogue of items. On each page, there is one or several items, each with a name, a description, and a photo. The catalogue currently has 50 pages.
My problem is as follows: if I add a few lines on page 1, the 49 following pages get shifted, and I end up with the name of an item on one page, its photo on another, etc.
I would like that if I add text on page 1 (or elsewhere), a blank page is automatically created afterwards, without affecting the layout of the rest of the document
I am currently working on Word 2007, on Vista, but if someone knows a solution on an older software, please do not hesitate to share.

Thank you
Martial

CTRL + Enter is the solution, to be inserted at the end of each page.

It's called a page break, and it's precisely there to do what you want.

However, on an existing document, you need to show paragraph marks, and manually replace the last mark on each page with the famous shortcut CTRL+Enter (instead of the usual Enter, which inserts a simple paragraph break).

There you go.

I think this response is too late... but if you’re indeed the Martial I’m thinking of, I couldn't resist sending it.
