Hello,
I would like to know how to exit fullscreen mode in The Sims 2 so that I can have just a window and multitask on the PC at the same time???

Hi!! So there you go! You go to Start, then All Programs, then EAgames, then you click on your last add-on, then you click on the readme file!!!!!! And there you look for the method to play in windowed mode... there you go, try it and let me know if it works!!! If you can't do it, tell me and I will explain it to you step by step... there you go...

Here’s how to proceed:
To launch The Sims(TM) 2 Happy Holiday Stuff in windowed mode, first create a shortcut to the game by right-clicking on the Sims2EP9.exe file and selecting Create Shortcut. Then right-click on this shortcut and select
Properties. At the end of the target line, add a space and the text "-w" (without the quotes). Click OK, then double-click the
shortcut to launch the game. Windowed mode allows for easier switching between different programs. However, note that if you launch
other programs at the same time as The Sims(TM) 2, the game's performance will be reduced. Also note that edge scrolling does not work in windowed mode. In case of graphical anomalies, ensure that the desktop color quality is set to 32 bits.
Other command line options:
-w windowed mode
-f fullscreen mode
-nosound launch the game without sound
-r800x600 launch the game in 800x600 resolution
-r(w)x(h) launch the game in (w)x(h) resolution

there is a code, you need to press the code bar ctrl + alt + C and type the code " -x " (without the quotes)
