Hello,

When I log in to the computer locally, there are no issues, but as soon as I connect my functional Ethernet cable (tested on another machine), the computer reboots in a loop.

As a result, I uninstalled the network card drivers from the computer and reinstalled updated drivers.
I rebooted for the driver to be recognized, but as soon as I reconnected my functional Ethernet cable, the computer still rebooted in a loop.

What should I do?

Best regards

Thank you
Configuration: windows XP

What does "the computer reboots in a loop" mean?

In fact,

As soon as I plug the cable into the network card, the computer restarts and keeps doing so until I unplug the cable.

It's not a virus, I checked.

So there you go.

Try disabling the network card and plugging in the cable, and see if your PC will restart or not.

I tested it,

I disabled the card and then plugged in the computer, it didn’t restart but when I enabled it, it rebooted.

There you go.

I have no idea how to solve the issue.

Aside from the final solution,

changing the network card, but I would really like to know where this comes from.

Yes, it's integrated into the motherboard, that's why it seems strange to me.

I think your network card is infected by a virus, try adding another one.

Is the network card integrated into the motherboard?
