The image skips during playback on the VCR

Hello,
the recorded image jumps during playback on my VCR, and is sometimes also in black and white.
I’d like to specify that it was working well, this issue appeared after I unplugged it and plugged it back in exactly the same way.
Thanks a lot if anyone can help me.

    -insert a cassette
    -fast forward to avoid being at the end of the tape
    -put it on play
    -press pause
    -press up or down (you should have these buttons on the remote)

    I just did fast forward and pause, but the same,
    but unfortunately I can't find the up and down buttons,
    it's a brand Orion, I bought it at Leclerc,
    I'll leave it there and let you know this evening if it's better, smile,
