Hello,
I just created a presentation in Keynote, but the content exceeds the limits of what my HTML server can handle for sending this file.
What is the procedure for:
1: exporting this file so that it can be read by those equipped with a PC? PDF or PPT? Or something else?
2: reducing this file so that sending by email is accepted and receivable by everyone?
Thank you in advance
Best regards
Hervé

Hello
Thank you for your quick response.
Indeed, even when sending the email directly via 'SHARE', the file remains too large even when zipped! The email doesn't go through...
However, I didn't know that PDFs lose the animations and that files with a pps extension launch the animation directly. Thank you for this information.
So here I am, proud as a peacock for having created a good Keynote file, how can I send it without any issues to my friends equipped with PCs or Macs? ...
Best regards

Hello,
In Keynote,
To make it a PowerPoint file
= Share menu / Export..
to send by Mail
Share menu / Send via email,
if you select PowerPoint there, it will create all at once a PowerPoint file in a .zip archive
Best regards
PS: A PowerPoint file with the .pps suffix is a file for automatic slideshow launch, while a .ppt file is a standard PowerPoint file
A PDF file will have lost all animations, and the possibility of slideshow viewing.
And one more thing, even when compressed, depending on the presentation, the file may still be too large, compression has its limits, of course. 10MB is generally the limit for standard messaging.

Hello,
You can "upload" this large file to a site like this one (there are others!) where your correspondents, once informed, will come to retrieve it.
Best regards.
