How to make hearts with my keyboard?

Hello,

I can't make hearts with my keyboard!

Can you tell me how to do it because normally you need to do Alt+3 = heart!

But it doesn't work for me! I press the alt key, not the one for the at symbol, the other one... the one on the other side. Then I press the plus + and then the three 3 and it does nothing, and on top of that when I hold down alt it doesn't show it for me! How do I do this, please help me as quickly as possible! It's really really really urgent, I need to make a report for my high school and it's about Valentine's Day, well it’s a complicated thing but there need to be hearts and not the word heart, real hearts, well there you go you understand me!

Thanks in advance! Whoever helps me solve this "problem" will get a reward because they will have saved my life, basically, LOL! But please, S.V.P!

Hello, here is the real answer
to all those who say that it doesn't work with a laptop, that's completely false!
I had the same problem as you, so here it is
the equivalent of the numeric keypad on a laptop are the small blue numbers under the letters J K L O I U [...]
to use them, you need to click on the fn button next to the space bar
so to make, for example, the heart sign
click on alt, fn, and the little 3 below the "L" key
and there you go, it should work!
Please let me know if my theory is good because I spent more than one afternoon on this =S

Yes, that's normal. So to make a heart, click on alt fn and L
that's the solution for laptops.

Well, I found it a lot easier because I can't do it with alt!
I turn on caps lock and type <3, I send it and it gives a heart<3

Otherwise, you can just make this sign: <3 On Facebook it makes normal hearts ;-) - but for other sites, I don't know... On MSN, such characters don't work... And then copy/paste normally works... I have a PC and the hearts don’t work, so there you go.

Hello.
To get a heart, just go to "Accessories," then "System Tools," and click on "Character Map."
Choose the "Symbol" font, click on the desired character, click the "Select" button, and then click "Copy."
All you need to do is paste this character into your document and adjust its size as you wish.
