Machine gun noise in the printer

Hello,

I have an HP Photosmart C4200 printer. After a paper jam, the printer started making popping noises like a machine gun every time I turn it on, every time I want to print. Also, the print quality is poor. Who can help me solve this issue? 
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hello,

    It's the training roller that is slipping on the drive belt: the belt is worn out.
