Burn ISO with UDF mode?

Hello,
Here is my problem:
For a few days, I've been trying to burn a 4GB .iso file onto a 4.7GB DVD-R (1-16x burn speed). I’ve tried using Nero, but I also have NTI CD & DVD Maker, ImgBurn, CloneDVD... With DVDs from a friend (which have the same characteristics but are dual layer DVDs and have a 1-8x burn speed), it works, but with mine, I get a message (here from Nero): "the block size entered does not match the image size," and with NTI CD & DVD Maker, I get something that says the iso is limited to 2GB. Anyway, I did some research and found that it can be resolved by using UDF mode. But how do you use this mode?
Thank you for responding quickly :)

Goodbye!

    Hello wwizard,

When you open NeroBurningROM, on the left under DVD, you have the choice between several types of discs to create.
DVD-ROM (ISO) is for regular data discs, DVD-Video for DVD-Video, and DVD-ROM (UDF) is what you're looking for.

    Best regards

    Hello

What is in this file and where does it come from?

An ISO file is burned in UDF mode by definition, or at least I believe so.
The file may be corrupted, check it with Daemon Tools or IsoBuster, if possible with the latter.
Also, take a look here: http://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/sujet 41 md5sum verifier l integrite des telechargements

However, you can try the simulation or bypass the Nero message, it seems to me.

    Best regards

    Hello,

On the ISO, there is a game that doesn't launch on a computer :s so I don't know if it could verify. This afternoon I'll see if the file works! :) Thank you

    Hello,

I have another small issue, which is that I want to add an "install" file under Nero Burning ROM, but it tells me that my ISO is larger than 2 GB and thus asks me to change the compilation type to UDF mode, but I can't select UDF mode (I don't know where to go to do that ^^).

I have already formatted my DVD and set it to UDF format.

Please give me advice on where I need to go to change the compilation type.

    Thanks in advance ++

Thank you very much, Ziggourat Nero accepted my ISO this time, but when I tried to burn it, I encountered a second issue which is: "unable to burn in full disc mode on an open disc." And now I also don't know what to do ^^ (I'm just starting with the use of Nero)

Thanks in advance if you can help me.

P.S.: It's to create a boot disc for when the computer starts.

    On that note, good evening.

I hadn't noticed that you had an ISO file during my first reply: NeroStartSmart --> Save --> Burn an Image to Disk

Are you using a blank disk?

Otherwise, you have some explanations in this old topic for creating a bootable disk with Nero: https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-1883024-nero-creer-un-cd-boot
I have Nero 7, and you have to go through the advanced options in NeroStartSmart.

Anyway, for burning ISO files, I don't use Nero; I prefer ImgBurn ;)

    See you!
