Reliable sites for buying batteries? Solved

Question

Hello,

I’m looking to change the battery of my current phone. After long hours of searching on Google, I feel like more than 3/4 of the addresses I've found are scams, either with very poor quality products (ultra short lifespan batteries) or no delivery of orders.

I've tried to find a site selling the exact model and manufacturer of my battery (LG LGTL-GKIP-1000) but I can't find one!

Do you have any addresses/tips to share?

About Batteries, a site of incompetents that supposedly has all the references but actually sends a standard charger to everyone and which one time out of two does not fit. I should have believed what I was told instead of trusting them; they sent me a standard HP charger instead of a specific one for my laptop. Summary... 10 days lost, 10 more days without a computer...

Thank you, Zoulo, for your response! I'm not in Pessac, but I have a friend who lives there. So if the shops in Bordeaux you mentioned provide high-quality products (and better than those from AboutBatteries or others), I will ask my friend to buy it there for me (if the price is reasonable).

I know that Bordeauxpiles is reliable and allows and does or redoes certain circuits and services batteries I don't know but they've been around for years for both. That's what I can say. Yes, they are reliable. However, I don't know if they have what you want.

About Battery ... Attention ..!!

I am a professional photographer. On the evening of Tuesday, June 1, 2010, I ordered a spare battery for my Eos. €13 is a great price, so I went for it. Since I absolutely need it by Friday, June 4, I opted for guaranteed delivery via Colissimo to be received within 24 hours as stated on the website. In the end, €13 for shipping on top, which is the same amount as the battery..!! It’s Friday and I still haven't received anything. I asked the customer service this morning at 10:15 AM to call me back, leaving my contact details as they recommend on their website.. It’s 7:20 PM and I'm still waiting for their call.
My conclusion: False advertising and incompetent customer service..!!!!

this is the second time I've ordered from About Battery. The first time, I received my package in 48 hours, great! On July 30th, I placed another order (battery failure in my PDA), and that same evening I received an email from About Battery confirming the shipping. Indeed, with the Colissimo tracking number, my order was in the postal system but since then, it has been stuck at a postal platform in Alsace. I called the post office, and they confirmed that yes, your package is on hold but there’s nothing we can do; it’s the sender who needs to intervene. And the sender, About Battery, tells me they filed a complaint and now I have to wait 3 weeks for a response.
I'm starting to have questions: should we quickly privatize the post office or are they just messing with me??

Good evening, Same for me, it's the second time I've ordered from aboutbatterie. The first time went smoothly; the second time, since 09/06/2010. Not seeing anything come, I called and they told me that the order had been delivered, they even sent me proof of receipt. However, on the receipt, there is a crude scribble. So I made a complaint and since then I've been waiting for about battery to get a response from the post office.

SuperBatteries.fr with the name William, a site entirely in impeccable French, but be careful, they do not deliver and lead you on for weeks. Now I'm more cautious and check the site before ordering. Furthermore, the fact that the site allows PayPal payment is neither a security measure nor a sign of reliability.

I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST the site batteriedeportable.com Endless delivery time. My customer account was deleted before the transaction was completed. The product was finally received and did not match my phone. In short, I returned it asking for a refund, but I haven't heard back from them since! Customer service is nonexistent!

The aboutbattery site is to be avoided especially since they are not the cheapest (quite the opposite):
2 orders placed in the past:
1-a charger that didn't last long (10 months)
2- here 15 days ago a 7200 mah battery.
I have fully charged it 4 to 5 times and with my laptop in offline mode, doing nothing on the computer, it lasted a maximum of 3 hours and 30 minutes, which is not even the duration of an original 4000 mah battery.

Where the bad faith from aboutbatteries is clear is that in case of selling a defective product, the return shipping costs are at the customer's expense.

I have placed about ten orders in recent months on different websites and it is only with them that I have a problem like this.

Not to mention the slowness of customer service in responding to messages (they probably prefer that we call them at 15 cents a minute!!!).

So, I've forgotten...
I will return my defective battery to them and good riddance!!!

Do not buy from the site batteriedepc.fr, it's a scam
The site is Chinese but rigged to appear French
The prices are interesting but I had the unpleasant surprise of buying a battery for ASUS EEEPC and it's worthless, they reversed the polarity and on top of that I have to send it back to China at my expense, which costs 16 euros and I bought it for 32 euros.
If you go to contact, you'll see that the contact is fake, hotline down
I filed a complaint with Paypal but nothing can be done

Avoid at all costs: BatteryGogo.fr (and its international variations).  Clearly made for the Gogos, and not for the Batteries...  HTC Sensation battery ordered on December 15, and today is December 29. A certain Clara is keeping you on edge by email, telling you that she has redirected your order (2 times, 3 times, and now we're at the 4th...). The trick even goes so far as to send you fake Chronopost tracking emails (with a shipping date of July 7, when we are in December / A delivery address in Paris Beaugrenelle 15, when you live 600 km away from the Seine...).  In short, Gogos but not too much. I am nevertheless down by €17.41. Friends Gogos in search of Batteries, don’t fall for the trap, and remove BatteryGogo.fr from your bookmarks.

Do not order from super-battery.co.uk Payment is only possible with Paypal There is no email to confirm the order and then no way to track your order on the site. Dispute opened with Paypal on January 12, 2014. The seller provided a fake tracking number to Paypal and later did not provide documents proving the package was handed over to a carrier. After several follow-ups and 2 phone calls on February 8, 2014, Paypal finally ruled in my favor and should refund me within 5 days. Does Paypal use this cash flow to profit from it? How much money does Paypal have blocked in its accounts due to dubious transactions? Why doesn’t Paypal ensure the reliability of the websites that offer its payment solution? Why is this site still authorized to use the Paypal solution and for how long?  I usually order online but the day I ordered from super-battery.co.uk, I must not have been awake.  Conclusion: stay vigilant and beware of sites that only offer Paypal as a payment solution.

ALL-BATTERIES = scam  I ordered two batteries for more than €750. Payment accepted immediately. No follow-up on my order, and since it was urgent, I canceled my order a day later.  Premium-rate line without any response. I found the headquarters number and requested the cancellation of my order. A reply by email a day later said that my order was with the carrier and that I should not accept the delivery, and that I had to contact the accountant. Two weeks later, still no delivery, and of course, no refund.  No response on the premium-rate line. I had to call the headquarters. They promised to call me back, but no call. I sent an email requesting my refund; I received an email a day later thanking me for my order.  I will now pursue the matter with the DDCCRF and my legal service.  A company to definitely avoid.

Especially not with fr battery! I was misled by the "fr" thinking that coming from France it would be faster and easier! A gross error. Waiting 3 weeks before receiving the battery from China. Since the references were correct and the battery was rigorously identical to mine, I thought it was my computer that was no longer charging correctly. In fact, after checking, it was indeed the battery that was not working, my computer did not recognize it. The Asus seller who checked my device ordered another one for me which I received 48 hours later and which works very well. Here’s what fr battery offered me when I told them their product was not correct: From: service@fr-batterie.com To: tatabright Dear Jean,  Thank you for your cooperation. We got it. We will resend another new battery to you. You only need to pay for us EUR15.5 as the shipping cost&customs tax&handing fee. You can settle it on the link as below.
