Hello,
I had a paper jam in my Brother DCP330-C, I pulled on the sheet to retrieve it and since then it shows impossible to print 4F and the capture photo button is flashing red.
What should I do?
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    Hello
Excerpt from the notice on page 68: https://support.brother.com/g/b/error404.aspx
Print imposs. XX. The device has a mechanical problem. Disconnect the power cord from
the device for several minutes and then reconnect it.

Are you sure you have removed all the paper??? Carefully examine the path that a sheet follows (especially the edges); even a simple mm² of paper or a clump of dust can cause a blockage....
Have you put everything back in place after removing the sheet???...
    Look at this: https://support.brother.com/g/b/producttop.aspx?c=fr&lang=fr&prod=dcp330c_all

I tried to reset the counter, a step I succeeded in, but I couldn't do the 99 after the stop exit. I still have the same problem, it always displays impress. impossi. 4 F. I can't move the print head. Where is it really located?
      Thank you for your information.

The error 4F is due to the use of a compatible or recycled cartridge.

Indeed, it is better to replace the machine.

      Hello David95,
The error 4F is absolutely not due to the use of compatible cartridges. You're talking nonsense!!!!!!
It is due to a failure of the purge system.

Hello, I have the same problem. I followed everything to the letter and nothing, it gives me the 4f message again. I even blew it out everywhere, there’s not a crumb of paper. I have the feeling it's more of a software issue than a mechanical one. I don't know who to turn to anymore. Waiting for a response, thank you.

Hello, after several searches I went to the Brother website and there was disappointment; error 4F is a print head failure but apparently the repair costs more than the printer itself so it's trash, and we're starting fresh, consumer society!!!! Goodbye everyone.
