Hello,
Right now I would like to have the perfect city.
I have searched a lot on the net, but there is no answer to my topic.
I found results like: "planting trees in 16x16 squares"...
I didn't understand..
If someone could help me achieve this perfect city, or explain the 16x16 method, that would be nice.
Thank you

To have the golden watering can, you need the perfect village for 15 days, and to achieve that, you must do the following (for the perfect village):
=> For the trees:
*only plant them in grassy areas; dirt paths (brown areas) must remain free (planting them at the grass/dirt boundary is possible).
*You can plant them along the cliffs surrounding your village (even in the dirt), but not too close to water sources where they won't grow.
*You can even plant them on the land protruding into the ocean (be careful to leave space for fishing).
*You may choose to create orchards without issue, BUT you must keep enough oaks and cedars (for the bell bags and gifts). I have about sixty oaks and twenty cedars. I’m not giving you an exact number so you can mix different tree species to your liking. I have just over a hundred fruit trees (not including coconut trees).
*Plant coconut trees (about twenty) along your beaches; they also grow on the land extending into the ocean (as with the other trees, remember to leave space for fishing).
IMPORTANT:
Trees must not be on top of each other; you need to leave at least 2 cm (screen size) between each one in every area where you've planted them.
-At the town hall, if they tell you too many trees: your trees may not be too numerous but too close!
-If they tell you not enough: some areas are not wooded enough.
-If you add a tree and they say too many, walk around your village to ensure your plantings are sufficiently 'spaced'; if you remove one and they say not enough, check if you've planted consistently in each area.
=> For the flowers:
you need a lot (take the opportunity to try hybridization: kill two birds with one stone).
*Plant them around the villagers' houses, in grassy or dirt areas that you don’t visit too often... You need between 150 and 200.
*do not remove withered flowers: water them, they will re-bloom.
*watering all flowers is not mandatory, only water the withered ones.
*Rain does not replace watering.
*Weed out the area.
=> for the general environment
*do not leave things lying around on the ground (fruits, bell bags, litter)... only shells are tolerated but only on the beach.
*All fruits must be picked up immediately, as well as rotten turnips. The slightest object that is out of its usual place on the ground may make you lose your 'perfect village' status.
Once you have a village that resembles what I just described, go see Opélie or Elisabec...
If they tell you: not enough trees, plant one (if they say too many, cut one down) then return to the town hall, repeat until you get the famous message from Opélie who will say: 'x.x.x.x is really a great place! A very vibrant town!'...'There's one who looks satisfied'...' or from Elisabec 'I can’t believe it! x.x.x. is an extraordinary town!'...'That's what it says'...
And then it’s off for 15 days of gardening WITHOUT time traveling, while also avoiding visits from overly boisterous friends who might destroy your flowers...
Your first reward: after 2 days, you will find a Jacob's ladder!
Then you will find one regularly every 2 days!
You must 'content' yourself with maintaining your village so it stays in this state for...15 days!
Good luck...

Hi
Personally, I just got the perfect town without using the 16-16 technique.
You just have to plant trees (you need a lot) and wait for them to grow. Once they are big, go to the town hall and check the environment section. If they tell you to plant more, do it. If they say there are too many, cut down a few.
I planted them wherever there was space without worrying about the 16-16, and it works.
One piece of advice: Plant coconut trees all along the beach; that will already reduce what you need to plant in the village ;-)

It's complicated in practice but not in theory, the perfect city!
I'll explain.
Your city is divided into 16 squares of 16x16 "spaces". A space is the place taken by a hole.
So, in each of these squares you need:
-12 to 15 trees
-6 to 10 flowers
-no weeds
-no clover
-No objects on the ground
There you go. If you maintain this situation for 15 days, a golden watering can is yours!!

Hello! To have a perfect town in Animal Crossing Wild World, plant a lot of fruit trees like cherries, pears, oranges, apples, peaches, and coconuts. After that, water your flowers, remove your weeds! And take good care of your town and your villagers for 16 days!!! Then you'll get the golden watering can. Ask Ophelia or Isabelle about the environment; if they don't say anything, you'll receive the golden watering can!!! Good luck!
Hello cici200,
to have a perfect city, plant trees and don't forget to add a lot of flowers. As for the dandelions, you can leave them. And don't forget to pull out the weeds.

Hey there! =D
So, I have a problem (if we can call it a problem U_u' xD)
I'm juggling between "Too many trees" and "Not enough trees." Every time I remove one, she's not happy, and as soon as I put one back, it's the same!
I'm waiting for your responses, please =D

To have the perfect town, you just need a lot of trees, flowers, and definitely no weeds or clovers in your town. Moreover, if your town stays perfect for 16 days, you will receive a golden watering can.
Me, I'm new to the forum, and for marriage, some say you have to bury a picture of your lover under a palm tree! (I think that's impossible) and I lean more towards "false". But on the other hand, for the thing about becoming a king... I lean more towards true. But I don't have any proof...
heu...Hello,
I would like to know what the "becoming king" you mentioned is, please...
As for the marriage, it's not possible, I've already tried 3 times all the techniques I've come across and none of them work!!! But I haven't tried yours yet; it seems simpler than some others I've seen!!!!
However, I'm really frustrated because I’ve never managed to get the perfect city in a year and a half!!!
Thank you in advance
Hello Kitty

Well, to become king, from what I've heard, you need to buy the crown for 1,000,000 bells from Tom Nook!! It only appears very rarely, so be patient!! Or from the fairy fingers, I can't remember =p Also, I'm like you, I don't know if we can get married or have babies, but be careful not to believe just anything anyway!!!
To marry a villager, you often need to talk and send love letters to the person you love; normally, the animal will give you its photo. Wait for NOOK to sell a frame (any frame), buy it. Then slide the photo into the frame and walk around outside with it. If you planted a coconut tree, bury the photo (that is in the frame) under the coconut tree, then talk to the one you love under the coconut tree. They will give you a speech and ask you to marry them!
I found this on a website. So, could you confirm whether this is accurate or not?
Thank you.

There should be flowers everywhere in the city and the right number of trees.
And it must stay that way for 15 days. After those 15 days, if the city is still perfect, go to the town hall and ask about the environment; if it is perfect, you would get the golden watering can.
Not very complicated
See, I succeeded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, Jacob's ladder is a flower: so LOGICALLY it wilts
(and it's just there to decorate)
in my city, there's one every day, that's starting to add up a lot!!

Hi, my technique is: to have all possible fruits, including coconut
so for example, you take an apple, you plant it, space it 3 holes from another fruit, 3 holes from a non-fruit tree, 3 holes from a fruit tree, 3 holes from another fruit tree, 3 holes from a fir tree... P.S. fill the holes back afterwards.

To the wild pony
It's crazy how we resemble each other
For my perfect city, I do like you and we almost have the same username (it's not a bluff, I've always used it)
More precisely for my perfect city:
T=hole
F=flower
0=fruit tree
A=non-fruit tree
T F T 0 T F T 0 T F T A T F T 0 T F T 0 T F T A
Well, you see the picture
P.S. fill the holes
In principle, it works
If you encounter obstacles like signs shifted 1 hole
They must also be planted at a minimum of 1 hole next to the cliff or a water point, otherwise they won't grow
Another thing, if a tree doesn't grow after three times in the same spot, it means nothing will ever grow in that spot, so plant nearby and fill with flowers if there’s really a problem!
Weeds must be banned from your city.
Otherwise, I accept Wi-Fi visits under two conditions:
- broken flowers repurchased and replanted
- cut trees replanted (of the same variety in the same spot)
My first name: Elodie
my city: Hil-Valé
I hope to have helped you
Best regards
Elodie

Hello,
I advise you to increase your trees first since flowers take up a lot of space... Start with the coconut trees, which should be 1 "square" above the ground ^^. Then move on to fruit trees. When you get to flowers, leave some space between them and pair them up (it will work) and you will have hybrids (if one day you forget to play Animal Crossing and you have hybrids in your garden, come back to the date you forgot and then move forward one day -_o).
I hope I helped you!!
Have a nice day.

My trees are arranged at random and so I can't achieve the perfect city. Do I need to cut everything and start over?
But in my city, when I plant trees, they don't grow. How can I make them grow?
Thank you for responding!

I don't understand, Ophelie tells me that I don't have enough trees: I plant one, and then she tells me there are too many. Should I cut it down then? And fill in with flowers? I'm not managing!
Kisses,
Pich.
Good luck anyway. Jolie-Kathleen
Goodbye.
I have a perfect city right now but before Opélie used to tell me that there were too many trees so I cut down several and then she told me there weren't enough so I left it like that and I put fewer flowers than average so I had around 100 trees and 100 flowers. And yet I have a perfect city at the moment.
Ciao
what is a Jacob's ladder?
