How to pay via PayPal without a credit card? Solved/Closed

Hello,  Having a "Personal" Paypal account, I transferred the necessary amount via bank transfer to my Paypal account and I do have my money there.  The problem arises at the time of payment: Paypal asks me to validate a credit card (in my name of course) but I don't have one as I am still a minor. I don't understand why Paypal is asking me to do this when I have the required amount in my account.  Is it possible to pay without going through this step?  Thank you in advance.  If I am not clear in my answers, please feel free to let me know. Configuration: Linux Firefox 3.0.6

It is possible to make your purchases without a credit card thanks to PayPal.  PayPal has set up a system that directly links your bank account to your PayPal account, allowing you to make purchases without a credit card.  This is very convenient for those who do not have one and often find themselves blocked when trying to shop online. Now, all you need to do is open a PayPal account, enter the information required by PayPal for your account; then PayPal makes 2 transfers of less than 1 euro to your account with a verification number to enter into your PayPal account and there you go, you're all set, you can do like everyone else, use PayPal for your purchases or receive payments without worrying about your credit card. PS: If you are doing business online, I recommend getting a premier or business account (with more options intended for online businesses and especially much more convenient). =)

Hi, with Paypal, you have 2 options. The first one that you can't finalize is the credit card. The second is to register a bank account. For that, it's very simple, you click on the link to register my account or something like that on your Paypal page. Paypal will charge you within the following 7 days two amounts totaling €1.50. On your online statement, for example, you will see next to these 2 amounts some numbers that you need to enter on your Paypal account to finalize the registration of your account. That's it, it's quite simple. :) I did it, no problem.

In the section "Essential information on payments and PayPal service," it states that "to open an account, a User must be an individual (at least 18 years old) or a legally capable business to enter into a contract" ... After that, you can do as you please, but for me, being a minor, I wouldn't take the risk.  But do as you wish ;)

Concerning PAYPAL = Need a credit card or bank account... :'(  For others: the easiest is still Mastercard cards like PCS CARD for example, it's a prepaid card, meaning it's a credit card that you load with cash, and you don't need a bank account. https://www.pcsmastercard.com/  It's convenient in the sense that you can pay on all sites that offer credit card payment, so 100% of the sites. However, it's expensive...  Purchase of the PCS card = €15 Cash top-ups = 7% fee on top-ups €10 for card renewal. Monthly management fee: €1.5 €1 per ATM withdrawal...  Phew... it's convenient but don't expect to find good deals online, this card will take what you save at Amazon or Cdiscount. Plus, you need to provide ID and proof of residence... I hope the tax office doesn't have access to this info lol  I recently discovered WEXPAY: https://www.wexpay.com/  Basically, it's simple, it allows you to change your cash in one of the exchange points https://www.wexpay.com/obtenir-e-money Once at the newsagent, you get a WEXPAY code that allows you to pay online with :-)  This solution is very interesting as it is much more affordable in terms of cost, there is just a fee when changing your money at an exchange point but it is really low, for example €3 for a code of €250 (= 1.2% fee). Plus, it's simple and it allows me to make one-off purchases, no need to provision like on my PCS CARD. In any case, it costs me less.  I mainly make my deposits on PMU.fr or I shop on Ubaldi.com Their only downside is that you can't pay everywhere, only on sites that have accepted this payment method.  The number of sites is increasing but they lack top sites like Fnac or Amazon and that's a shame. Maybe soon?  Well, there are also prepaid cards (ticketsurf, paysafecard) but that's just for gamblers (pokerstars, pmu, winamax) or MMO players (dofus, wow, league of legends...) It works well! A little regret, sometimes it's more expensive to pay with these cards on some games (for example, check the price difference of ogrines on dofus between the standard price = credit card, wexpay or paypal and the price with PaySafe or ticketsurf, it's ABUSE!  @++
