Battery on quad

Hello,
I own a Kymco MXU 250 quad, and my battery has trouble charging even after 1 hour of driving. I was told that I probably need to change it. I've looked into replacing it, but I can't seem to get it out. 
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Remove the seat
    You need to unscrew your license plate (2 screws).
    Then remove the plastic cover (2 screws).

    You can take it out easily now.
