Onkyo Amplifier Issues and Protect Mode

Hello, Since my last DJ gig, my Onkyo amplifier goes into Protect mode as soon as I turn up the mixer a bit too loud.
It never did that before, I could push the sound without any problem...
(thankfully for me it was just a family event), anyway,
If someone who knows a bit about this or has had this problem could tell me what’s wrong...
Because when I turn up the sound it shows "PROTECT" on the amp and it keeps switching back and forth....

Me on my amp sometimes it does the same thing but it shows overload which is the same, for me, it's when there are too many speakers connected that it goes into protection mode! Maybe your amp also got a chill, that can happen too! Especially when the sound cuts out and comes back!
