No sound when playing a downloaded movie

Hello,
I downloaded a movie, but when I want to play it in Windows Media Player, there is no sound!!!
So when I go to my help report, I see this message pop up:
"An audio codec is needed to play this file. To determine if this codec can be downloaded from the Web, click on Web Help."
So if someone would be extremely kind enough to tell me where I can download this famous audio codec, that would be cool!!
