Good evening,
I wanted to ask for the opinion of those who know, this morning my apartment was flooded by the water from my neighbors who forgot to leave the taps on, as a result; the water itself got into my LCD TV screen, so I haven't turned it on yet, I'm scared, what should I do please help me, all answers are helpful thank you.

Of course not, you have the right to turn it on to see if it still works, you are within your rights and it's normal.
"Your TV got wet because of the neighbors, you want to know if it still works to report the claim to the insurance and say it doesn't work anymore; you will have to know that. Imagine you call them, you say your TV doesn't work anymore because of this problem, and later, after an inspection, they realize it does work – you'll look like a fool...
Moreover, this problem has happened to me before and tested and retested and retested again, and the insurance took it into account without any discussion."
