Hello there,
in the "all-in" desktop microphone packages, they offer a 21.6" screen. They are often glossy. I find that uncomfortable because of reflections. What are the advantages of matte vs glossy or vice versa? And 21.6" compared to a true 22" ? 5ms ...
thanks for your opinions

Hello, glossy screens give the impression of higher definition (sharpness), but as you say the problem is reflections. The colors rendered by matte screens are more realistic, so for photo retouching it’s better.
Regarding the format, 21.6" corresponds to 16:9 and 22" to 16:10. 16:9 is the new trend. No more black bars if you’re watching a movie.
Personally, I choose matte.
I almost forgot, 5ms corresponds to the response time, so the smaller this number, the less motion blur there will be when displaying fast scenes. (A tennis ball won’t look like a comet!).
