It seems that Badoo is quite used to this... you are not the only one to have received this kind of email
The scam usually involves diverting the subject of a message for commercial or even fraudulent purposes. It’s these emails that hint at the possibility of recovering the inheritance of a wealthy citizen who died in a plane crash, for example, on the condition of “advancing” the fees for the paperwork or travel. In short, anything to “scam”
I think we are far from what must have happened on Badoo... unless you incited debauchery or created an unsavory network...
The scam is also called “419 Fraud” (referring to article 4-1-9 of a law punishing this kind of fraud in Nigeria), mugu or even cyber fraud but also advance fee fraud in English.

Hello, could you please tell me if I risk any problems with Badoo regarding scams? I didn't even know what this stuff was!!! I received an email saying that I scammed Badoo users and that my information along with my connection location has been given to local authorities. Now I'm being sought by law enforcement; I had posted a picture of Aishwarya Rai, lol. But this thing really freaked me out; if anyone has received this kind of email or had this bad experience, please let me know, and what do I risk?? Thank you.

I was logged into Badoo when I got cut off and received an email from them saying that I had scammed, even though I didn’t even know what that meant. But I admit I was scared. But now I feel better, I see that I’m not alone. Apparently, this happens often with them.
