excel removing unnecessary sheets Solved

Question

Hello,
I have an Excel file that is 13 pages (A4), but in the preview, it shows me 27 (2x13+1). I checked, there are no stray characters on page 27, I deleted many rows and columns at the bottom and right of the last cells containing data, but I can't fix it.
Does anyone have any ideas?

you go to the page break preview  and there you drag the blue edges of the blank pages towards the page you want to print,  so it removes the blank pages...   and there you go, magic!

thank you for your responses
the preview I had done, I hadn't defined the print area. by canceling it (there wasn't one apparently) it didn't do anything, so I created one (on my 13 pages) and it works. when I remove it, it shows me a preview of my 27 pages. anyway, too bad for this oddity.

I have exactly the same problem, blank pages when printing, can't get rid of that, the only solution I found is to create a new file and paste my pages, but there must be a better way!

And well, to get rid of your blank page, it's very, very simple; you just needed to know the solution: *-First, press the CTRL key on your keyboard, and then click on the Delete key
And if it doesn't work the first time, try doing it several times to remove your blank page!!!!

The right solution is "Page Layout / Page Break"

You can also use "Page Layout / Set Print Area"

On Excel 2007, go to Home, then Delete, and then Delete Sheet. This deletes the sheet deemed unnecessary.

Hello everyone,
same problem but no good solutions for me...

I have 32 pages in my file, arranged in lines to build a report
The number of pages in the footer corresponds well to these 32 pages I want to print
During the preview (I go through PDF creator), I have 63 pages with a blank page between each page to print (the number in the footer changes to n/63 in the process)

The preview of the page breaks matches the pages to print, nothing is hanging.

Out of caution, I did "ctrl+end+down arrow" to delete all lines under my pages to print

The solution of defining a print area works well of course... Like selecting manually and checking "selection" when I go to print, but I can't keep this method for this file, regularly used by different people.

So I would like to find the real cause of this problem....
