Hello everyone, I am equipped with a TWINNER STU 999 demodulator on a universal LNB with 2 outputs. I have good reception of channels 1 to 6.
I bought a Strong 6410 decoder to access TNT via satellite.
When I turn on the latter, during satellite search, it finds no reception Red bars from 4 to 8%. I tried to realign the satellite.
After numerous searches without favorable outcome (I haven't found a similar case).
Is it compatible to use two types of decoders (demodulator and decoder) on the same LNB?
(I asked a seller, for him, there is no problem)

Thank you for your responses, best regards.

Hello and thank you for the quick response
More concretely, is a 10-year-old parabolic antenna with a diameter of 90 cm compatible with digital broadcasting on ASTRA 19.2? What is the way to check this? Is its replacement to be considered? Best regards.

Hello

The age of the parabola has nothing to do with digital technology, as long as its diameter is sufficient (Astra recommends 60 cm for all of Western Europe) and that its LNB is of the universal type.

Thank you for your reply
The satellite dish measures 780 x 880, so all I have to do now is install and set the dish on Astra

Thank you

Hello, after testing, the dish is compatible with TNT SAT
I even tried with 2 LNBs, one on Astra 19.2 (digital) and one on AB3 5W (analog) and everything is OK
One piece of information: the angle between AB3 and ASTRA 19.2 + 5 = 24.2°
In my case, south of Nantes, AB3 is at 185° and Astra at 152.9, which is a difference of 32.1°
Best regards
