SOLUTION FOR SECUROM!

Hello,

for everyone who receives the following message when trying to launch games protected by Securom (v7.xxx):

a conflict with your emulation software has been detected

and who have none installed. This may be due to the IDE drivers provided by your motherboard manufacturer.

I have a P5Q3 Deluxe from Asus and the driver CD installs a Marvel driver to manage my DVD-ROM.
I manually replaced it with the default Windows driver and the games start without any issues!!!

If anyone wants more information, I'm here! See you!
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.5

For Fallout 3, the problem is pretty simple: the autorun file is protected.
Well, if you open it and run setup.exe, it works.

I don't know much. You need to explain to me very slowly ...
I have the same problem as you with an original used game Counter-Strike. My computer is almost new TOSHIBA - Vista - . On the old computer, no problem. I'm open to all good solutions ...

Thank you in advance.

Hi guigui41!

!!! I don't guarantee anything, I don't work with Vista!!!

I'm on WinXP, so I can't describe the process to you exactly, but the main thing is to open the Device Manager panel.
With XP, right-click on My Computer, in the context menu click on Properties, in the window that opens, click on the Hardware tab, and then on Device Manager.

A tree of your devices will display. You need to find the category ATA/ATAPI IDE Controllers
normally you should have:
primary IDE channel
secondary IDE channel
IDE controller... (the name of that one may vary)

right-click on the controller, then select Update Driver, if Windows asks for permission to connect to the internet, refuse and click Next
then check Install from a list... and click Next
then check Don't search. I will choose the driver to install and click Next,
then check Show Compatible Hardware and select the Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller driver
then click Next and finish and that's it!

There you go! Normally, there shouldn't be any problems but... at your own risk!
See you!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !!!!! I've had this problem with the game RHEM III for a long time, particularly with SECURICOM: I have the original disk and no matter what, I always get the message "please insert the original cd".... a friend eventually gave me another cd/dvd drive, it worked but last week I used NERO to burn a music cd and since then the problem has come back... SECURICOM is a pain...
I did your trick and oh! miracle, the game started again....
So once again: THANK YOU!

Hi! I downloaded a game, mounted the game image with Daemon Tools, then clicked on "play the game," and it says: "A conflict with your emulation software has been detected.
See http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=emu&c=2500&l=en for more details."
So I click on the link, and they tell me that the game doesn’t run with programs like "Daemon Tools"!

How do I fix this? Is there a solution? :S

Hello, I just bought Turning Point and SecuROM tells me that I have a problem with my emulator, so I deleted Alcohol 120% just in case. I restarted and it gives me the same issue again, so I'm trying every possible way to eradicate the problem.

I just tried the method from iscariah666 since we have pretty much the same PC configuration, but I'm still getting the same issue!!

If anyone has an idea to resolve the problem, I would appreciate it if you could let me know because when you ask SecuROM, there’s a whole protocol to follow and even if you follow it, they bring you back to square one by sending you to their website, which is all in English, to find the problem... :(

Thanks for your help.

Hello my friend. I have a Compaq Presario Cq61 laptop... it has the same problem at my place... is there no software to solve the problem?

What I did to unlock the issue is that I contacted the label for Turning Point - - > Codemasters... and they sent me to available patches to remove the SecuROM protection... I bought Fuel of War afterwards and I had the same issue, so I contacted THQ who directed me to the patches. It takes some time to download everything since I have a slow connection, but it's really worth it.

Above all, don't look for help with SecuROM because they will just keep you going in circles...

That's it.

Here’s a little solution that works. I just tried it with Fallout 3, following a problem with SecuROM. It's very well explained, even for beginners.

Good luck to everyone!

Hi
I can't get yusa to work.

So here I downloaded Daemon Tools Pro Advance, I created an image from my original Gta4 DVD.
I mounted it on a virtual drive, I downloaded YASU here: http://www.tutoriaux-excalibur.com/yasu.htm
I put YASU in my :program/daemon tools pro.
I removed the protections as they say in the tutorial.
And when I launch my game, I still get an error message telling me to insert the original CD :/.

Hello,
after searching for hours to remove SecuROM, I tried to delete SecuROM from the registry along with all the related keys... but it just changes the language! Please help me solve this problem.

Yes! There is definitely a solution: buy the game and, oh miracle! No more problems with daemon.

Lost, alpha emu! I recently bought Vietcong (SecuROM protection) and the only solution for it to stop bothering me was to download a No-CD, which is legal when you purchase a game.

Another scenario I had with Sam & Max Season One (SecuROM v7 protection): I installed the game, which I bought for 10 € at Furet Du Nord, I play, then I create an ISO with Daemon Tools, hoping that I wouldn't have to insert the DVD into my drive anymore, I mount the image in SecuROM mode. And then, bam:
"Please insert the original disc into your drive (1000).

See http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=copy&c=1000&l=fr for more information."

Yet the image is exact and error-free.

Sécurom was invented just to screw people over: full of useless bugs, you buy your game and bam! the only thing that bugs out is SECURROM! that good old piece of shit protection software!
