Hello,

I have received several calls from a phone number with 14 digits... ?
I'll give you the beginning (to respect anonymity anyway):

0049444 XX XX XXX

I did some research online but nothing that leads me to the source of this call.

If anyone could satisfy my curiosity?

Thank you

Hello,

Currently, I am receiving calls from the number 00.21.89.24.37.92.24

It's a number that gives you 2 rings, and there is no one on the line.
These are computers linked in different corners of the world created by hackers or pirates, if you prefer, that dial a random number and land on yours. Their goal with these calls on several occasions (to exhaust your credit, destroy your phone or your SIM card...)
Experts are searching for them and are using all their means to find them, but through all channels, they are making them go around in circles. Also, besides the numbers, be wary of email addresses that send you or add messages...
These are computer pirates who use your operating system to destroy it afterward. I, having good computer skills, managed to trace a source based on an "IP" address and it led me to a person working at Microsoft in Ile-de-France.

BE CAREFUL!

And protect your computers with Antivirus & Anti-Spam!

I HAVE the same problem with a 00494542801489 and several times a day. Tomorrow I am going to the police station so they can try to find out who it is, and according to Orange, they will block this number.

Skilled in computer science, but spelling??? For me, it's calls on my landline: 00596696219745. No SIM card! So?

Yoyo I’m laughing so hard!
"Exhaust your credit, Destroy your phone or your SIM card"
Credit yes if the call is premium (otherwise it's them who pay)
but destroying a phone or a SIM card: what a good joke, how do they do that?! Do they send you a hammer through the phone!
I remind you that a phone call can only transmit audio, so aside from your ears, a caller can't damage anything else!

Regarding the 14-digit numbers, here is the official page of the ARCEP (French Regulatory Authority for Electronic Communications and Posts) http://www.arcep.fr/?id=8146.
The availability of 14-digit numbers for M2M (Machine to Machine) calls, which theoretically should not call a natural person.
