Hello,
I bought an R4 SDHC Revolution for DS (NDSL/NDS) linker of 4GB for my Nintendo DS Lite and I have a problem ....
First of all, I didn't receive a formatting CD with my linker, so I directly put my micro SD into my USB stick and copied my zipped games onto it (I have no idea how to do this at all!) I then inserted my linker into my DS and there's a black screen with "LOADING" .... and it stays like that all the time .... I left it on "LOADING" for a little while to see what would happen, but nothing ... still the black screen ...
I read several discussions saying to format the micro SD in FAT, but when I right-click on the SD ---> format, I only see FAT32 .... where can I go to set it to FAT?
And do I need kernel files to format the card? If yes, where can I get them and how do I install them?
Help me because I'm a bit worried that my linker won't work .....

You need to decompress your games in Zip format on the memory card using WinRAR, otherwise it won't work.

For me, it's not working. Once I've decompressed it with WinRAR and put everything on my card, my console becomes unusable and displays "menu" in red with a question mark. Does anyone know what I should do to be able to play with the card I just bought? Thanks in advance to those who will respond.

you decompress the downloaded file on your desktop.
you take the folder and the 3 files created after decompression and place them on the SD card.
if everything went well, launching the linker will give you a new startup screen.
you select game to be able to play the games you placed on the SD card. -
Here is a link to the latest kernel:
http://www.ndslr4.com/download-en.htm
And the game files must have the .nds extension if you want to play them
---> .rar - .zip... you need to extract them. -
Go to the site http://www.illymithics.fr/
it's a very good tutorial on the software DPGtools which converts your videos to .dpg (it's the only video format readable with MoonShell)
ps: "you seemed to be an expert in the field."
I'm just looking to get the best out of my consoles and computers ^^-
Thank you.... Thank you.... Thank you......... Thank you............
It's great, it works, a bit tricky to adjust, I had some issues with frequency settings, but with a little patience I was finally able to test my first video on DS.
I confirm it's a professional response. Are you also a specialist in DS programming?
Have a good evening.

Hello, what is the linker? I put the microchip in the thing marked "sandisk adapter," but how can I see what's on it on my computer? I don't have anything that looks like "my computer" in my programs, but I found the different drives on my computer, and there are several: E, G, I, F, H, and data; I know I need to "format" my chip, but which program should I use? However, with the USB key, no worries, I put the "unzipped" files as I read on the forum (I don't have any games to put yet), and the R4 menu displays well on the DS console, but the programs are "unknown," I think because the chip isn't formatted... please help me, I've been struggling for eight days for my son... thank you very much.

Vous n'avez pas formaté. Téléchargez ce fichier sur ce site, décompressez-le et glissez-le sur la carte.

Hello,
I would like to be able to watch my videos on NDS.
What video format can be played on NDS R4 SDHC? And where can I find a video converter to convert AVI to this format?
Thank you in advance. -

A thousand thanks, great forum!
However, I don't know how to mark this topic as "resolved"... -

On the other hand, once I've downloaded the kernel, what do I need to do (sorry, I'm really clueless ^^)?

I don't really know much about DS, but try decompressing the kernel at the heart of your card and then launch the kernel from your DS.

- Hello,
I saw one of your messages on the forum regarding an R4 SDHC and you seemed to be a pro in this area.
I would like to be able to watch my videos on NDS, but I can't find precise information and can't find a free converter (AVI = > ...).
What video format can be played on NDS R4 SDHC? And where can I find a video converter to convert AVI into this format?
Thanks in advance.
