Search DB9 - RS 232 adapter driver Solved

Hello,
I purchased a DB9 - RS 232 adapter a few weeks ago

when I bought it, there was no CD included with the cable and I've searched everywhere online but I can't find its driver. If someone could help me, that would be great.

Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.5

No driver needed.
Your PC must have at least Windows XP or 2000 or any Linux distribution
Once the UC232A is connected to the USB port, you need to go to the device manager to confirm that an additional COM port has been added.

Sorry, but it's not just a simple cable. There's electronics inside to convert USB to RS232. The voltages are different and, above all, the speed is not the same. So you need a driver.

By the way, after months of searching, I found out that the problem is that the cable is not compatible with Windows Vista, so it will never work on my PC unless I go back to Windows XP or 2000.

That's crazy! The first time I tested my UC232A adapter, it was on a machine equipped with Windows 2000. It worked just as well on Windows XP Pro. It also works, and even better, on Ubuntu Linux.
