Hello,
I'm looking for a simple software to make a map of my town that is simple but more precise than Google Maps. I should specify that it's to manage the locations of exhibitors at a flea market. Right now, I'm on a cadastral map but I can't modify anything (it's a photocopy). I would like to reproduce the streets and draw little squares to mark the rented spaces. I hope I was clear enough. I thought it’s a bit like software for managing a temporary campsite, you know.

    Hello,
    For the creation, the realization of a city plan, nothing could be easier. You just need to obtain the cadastre plan from the town hall, scan it (to have a base) and then redraw it in vector format preferably, so you can zoom in and out of the map as much as you want without quality loss. AutoCAD is indeed a vector-type software, but an illustration software (Illustrator) is much better for a final, visually pleasing render. You can write on the roads so that the text hugs them perfectly, add color, drop shadows, effects... It should therefore be enriched to be pleasant to look at.

    I am in a good position to speak about it, as our company Graphicom has been producing city and municipal plans for almost 20 years.
