You just need to deactivate the trial version (premium) if you want to have only the free version right away

Excerpt from the download sheet on CCM:

"but the Premium version (not essential for the software's effectiveness) is activated automatically and is available for 14 days. To return to the free version, go to "Settings" > tab "My Account" and click at the bottom on "Deactivate Premium trial".

I think this is even more advisable on Vista... in order not to weigh down the system....
