Question Marks in Boxes

Hello,

I've had a problem for a few months now. When I go on Safari or Chrome (on Mac) and search for what I want, there are normally written texts, except that now I have a page filled with boxes with question marks inside. I can't read anything or search for anything. Thank you for your help if there is any assistance available.

    This kind of issue is often the result of corrupted police caches. To clear the caches, the simplest method is to restart once in "Safe Mode" (hold down the Shift key while launching this startup) and then, once it's done, restart normally. This process triggers a number of basic maintenance tasks in the background, including clearing the caches.
