Hello everyone,
Not quite new here, but you were so quick and efficient in helping me that I'm back.
For some time now, on my Mac, when I click on "Utilities" and "Applications" located in Finder, both icons animate with a gray question mark and no longer open.
However, when I open Finder and click on "Applications" in the sidebar, it opens normally. Nevertheless, I had noticed, before I could no longer open Applications via its icon, that depending on whether I clicked on the Applications icon or in "Applications" in the sidebar, the content was not the same. Not at all actually!
If you have a solution....
Thank you in advance.
Have a great day.

Hello, so you right-click on the icons in question and you select "Options / Remove from Dock."
After that: you click on Finder at the bottom left
On the left, you have this small list, you right-click on Applications and select "Add to Dock," do the same with Utilities.
Once in the Dock, you right-click on Applications and under "Show as," you click on Folder & do the same for Utilities.

Hello Gab1,
Finally, hello again!
Well, here's a problem solved. Being completely unable to offer you any help with computers, I can only see one solution to thank you... I don’t know where you live, but if you ever pass through Marseille, there are tons of bars by the sea, the beer will be on me ;-)
That said, I have another problem that I will now promptly present.
