how to connect two mixers

Hello,

I am presenting the equipment, so we are two DJs each having a mixing table and two vinyl turntables. We also have an amplifier and speakers.
We would like to connect our tables in such a way that when my friend plays a track, I can lower his volume from my table and vice versa.

So the tables are: reloop rmx 40 and a beringer ddm4000. I don't have the amp in front of me but I'm 99% sure there's only one input for the cables: rca; rca/jack; xlr rca.
What exactly do you call active and passive speakers (I've never asked myself that question before)?

Hi,

you just need to connect one mixer to the other.

Either:
the Behringer to one channel of the Reloop
or the Reloop to one channel of the Behringer.

And to adjust the levels, you play the same track, and adjust the master of the "slave" mixer (the one connected to the input of the second one, I hope that’s clear) and you don’t touch it anymore.

We always do it like that with friends when we’re mixing together.
