Create a Party Playlist

Closed
Hello,

I have to DJ for my parents' birthday. I've decided to prepare everything in advance. But I have a little problem. How can I program a playlist so that the songs flow without any gaps between them?

I downloaded a mixing console. It’s not an issue to mix if I stay behind my computer all evening. How can I do the same thing in advance so that I can enjoy the party?

I hope I was clear enough, and thank you for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.5

  1. There's a much simpler way,
    Windows Media Player does it!

(right-click -> Enhancements -> Fade transition and automatic volume adjustment).
Then enable the fade transition and set 10 seconds of overlap. (hoping that in your playlist, no song starts or ends with a 10s silence...)
    1. Hello,
I wanted to follow your advice, however, I can't find "improvement". Do I need to position the mouse in a particular place?
      Thank you
    2. Well, I finally found it. Thank you for the advice.
    3. With the version of Windows Media Player that I have (version 12.0 on Windows 7), you first need to display the player in "skin" mode by pressing Ctrl + 3 (not the 3 on the numeric keypad, but the one above the Z and E), then right-click -> Enhancements -> Crossfade and Auto Volume Adjustment.
    4. You just saved me! Much easier than virtual!
    5. I do it with DEEZER, plus I download the albums for free using offline mode.
