  1. Hey Chewbacca, you're right
he didn't understand anything and he never will!!

And yes, Microsoft Office or Open Office

you don't know them, so you're drunk!!!

where was he when computing started?
Does he live in a rat hole? Because technology has revolutionized the world so much that we can't remain indifferent

well he needs to reconsider, okay?
    1. as you see fit to open each time with instead of double clicking

it’s also a solution, for a waste of time, yes

Did you use to work on a PC without office software? not me in any case!!

"Word Viewer" also allows not to have to install other versions of Word like Word 2003 or 2007 or later

Unfortunately!! because you will have to install ("powerpoint, publisher, excel, access......") Viewer for the rest to come!!
      1. eeuuhhh sorry I didn't quite understand what you meant ????
but it's okay...I managed to get by this time at least lol...

@infirmierececileNo problem... if you don't have Microsoft Office, use OpenOffice. It's free and can read all files from Microsoft products.

    2. DOCX documents are those from Microsoft Office 2007

and I believe you haven't installed Office 2007

either your friend saves it as Word 97-2003
      or you install Office 2007
or you will use the post of someone who already has Office 2007 and then open the doc and save as, choose "Word 97-2003 Document"
      1. Well, there you have a quick response!!! ;-)
Thank you very much! It's all good, I managed to do it by downloading Word Viewer (I think that's it lol)
        Have a good day
        Bye bye
