Hello, I've been working at Transcom since May, and I'm really wondering where we're heading and especially how our jobs will end up...

Hello Sandra;
The SFR activity is no longer at the Tunis center, we are no longer handling SFR, plus all the people who worked on this operation have been let go, of course with a severance package. It's something that further undermines Transcom Tunis and pulls us down. No activity, no manager, and no one reacts to these useless supervisors who are only here to sunbathe. I really don't understand how they were recruited and why they are still working here: CCM and worthless HR manager. -
Hello,
A saying goes:
we tend to see the speck in our neighbor's eye and not the plank in our own...
on the Favars site, I saw disappointed people when our client renewed their contract..
disappointed because they still had to work and couldn’t leave.. I say that this is lamentable...
that those people should leave quickly, Tww will be much better off..
regarding the criticism of the unions, I also don’t share all their methods. the fact that they paint a bleak picture.. but that is part of the game.
concerning Tunisia, unfortunately two important projects are stopping due to the clients' decision and not TWW.
Tww is not paradise, probably, but it's not that bad...-
It's all well and good what you're saying, but at Transcom Tunis it's different because we have a CCM and especially a "HR" director who are neither competent nor present at our center; they are just here for a vacation, so we, the advisors, are the ones paying the price for their incompetence.
If you see the number of people currently resigning and going to the competition, you'll say that the lifespan of the center won't exceed 1 year max.
Transcom Tunis is a mess with supposedly responsible people who are simply USELESS. -
@Alpatchino TunisHello,
I'm glad to have information about Tunis because unfortunately, when we ask the France management to provide us with elements about the activity or the number of employees, it often goes unanswered or when there is a response, we’re often told a lot of nonsense.
Part of the activity handled in Tunis would indeed be transferred to the French sites, but regarding SFR and its willingness to continue with Tunis, nothing is mentioned in the contract. It only states that the activity it will give to France in 2010/2011 must be handled on the French sites, but it also mentions that this does not prevent them from making contracts with the group outside of France.
Currently, the France management is doing everything to put the sites in competition with each other, particularly Tunis and France...the Division of the Kingdom. Therefore, we need to unite to succeed in saving our jobs and improving our salary conditions.
If you can get more information about Tunis, I’m interested.
Thank you and good luck. -

Hello, I am part of Transcom Tunis;
I can tell you that at our center it's the same struggle; no respect for commitments, PDP frozen, and it's getting worse and worse
out of 600 employees today, only 300 remain, that is, half have been laid off;
It’s shameful, Transcom Tunis has no values and no competent people, so we're heading straight for a disaster. -
hello,
I would just like to say one thing, don't let yourself be misled by unscrupulous unions like "LA CGT"; they are only seeking votes for the elections, and one really wonders if they are looking to preserve jobs or to destroy them.
Ask yourself the right questions!!!! -
Well, for Transcom Belgium, it's the last day in the current buildings as we are moving to a new building starting this Monday. Unfortunately, I feel that we are not gaining anything by this change.

Hello,
I have been at Transcom since 2001, and recently I posted on some forums.
I posted because I was frankly saddened to see so many negative posts.
It’s well known that when things go wrong, we criticize, and we shut up when things go well.
The problem is that we don’t measure the good side of things.
I believe that:
Transcom is a serious company that works with a strong commitment to its clients.
Improvements have been made regarding working conditions.
Further and sustainable progress will be made in partnership with the unions.
Transcom agents are efficient.
The technical level of the company is high.
So I am happy to be the (self-proclaimed) spokesperson for the people around me who are far from being unhappy at TWW!
There you go, I just wanted to give my opinion.
Happy reading! -

Hello,
Given the various rumors, do you think everything will be over in December? -
Erratum.
Hello everyone,
I work at Transcom WW in Belgium.
The only thing I can say is that the end of 2008 was difficult and we lost about 200 jobs out of the 300 we had.
In January, management froze bonuses and they are trying to avoid recoveries when people have been sick, etc.
It seems that the start of this year is better, but it is clear that there are still no real considerations and real social progress for employees.
The negotiation of meal vouchers initiated to replace bonuses has still not resulted in anything.
Belgium is closely monitoring what is happening in France and we thank you for communicating about what is going on.
I sincerely believe that we need to think internationally like them and that we must fight for the profits made in Europe to be largely used in Europe. -

It would be good to know what's happening in the other non-French centers
apparently 300 layoffs in Spain and I don't remember where else
is that true ??????????????-
Hello,
For your information, these are 300 jobs cut at the site in Aquila, Italy... which operates similarly to France in very close relation with Tunisia.
I think we can therefore see the connection with Transcom's desire to offshore to low-cost countries in Italy as in France, as was the case earlier this year in Spain.
The crisis is not real; it serves as a pretext for Transcom to better pit us against each other and make even more profit at the expense of wage and social sacrifices.

Hello,
just to let you know that the negotiations will resume on September 10.
A CCE meeting took place on August 26 to mandate an expert for the negotiations with SFR. The Management refused to answer the elected representatives' questions regarding the SFR contract, claiming confidentiality.
However, it seems important to know where we are going before asking the unions to negotiate an agreement.
The CCE did not want to give an opinion on the expert due to the lack of information provided. The next CCE will be on September 15 and 16.
It is crucial that we all mobilize in September, so prepare for action in all centers because things are getting serious.... -
Hi,
after reading all the messages, I'm happy to join you
Have you heard about the opening of TUNIS 2? Yes!!! The Orange client visited Tulle and Tunis2: where do you think the client is going to go????
I'm fully into the strikes and against annualization (20-hour week then 46-hour week??!!) and against 30 hours (already struggling to survive with 35 hours, alone and have a daughter to support!!!!), 3-hour breaks meaning double commute.....
If you take your paid leave during "high" weeks because they will keep 7.5 hours for the leave: you will owe work hours to Transcom
How to plan call flows, thus high or low weeks, when they sent us home during the long weekends in May, without the possibility of making up for it and without being paid
For over 2 years, call centers have been under scrutiny from the labor inspection and what is being done: nothing
Breast cancer, suicide attempts, moral and psychological harassment, stress, and a social worker kept for 6 months because she was on the employees' side: does that ring a bell for anyone
There were indeed proposals from a union, which I won’t name, for voluntary departures: with what amount of "dismissal" compensation, who takes over: the unemployment benefits
Long live France-
-
@csr favarsThe connection between transcom and breast cancer?!: stress in women, psychological harassment and moral harassment from a specific TL, etc.....
You must be a man to ask such a question.

I specified on the forum that my username was not my known first name in Soissons and I asked to change my username, but to this day I can no longer log in to your site, Céline.
-
Well, listen, I checked your access four times today and it's all good.
You're active.
You're not banned.
You're not unsubscribed, so I don't understand.
Anyway, the rules are clear on the forum: every member can register under a nickname, but no connotation with another member, and we absolutely need the real identity via PM.
Clearly, that works for everyone, so I think if you're here, you're among us.
Kind regards. -

Hello;
Just for your information Eric, know that your access has not been deleted.
You have access to the entirety of the forum.
We are indeed vigilant, which is normal.
The forum is open to everyone but on the condition that they introduce themselves and respect the rules.
I invite anyone who wishes to register and see that we have created a friendly space among colleagues.
Best regards,

Hello,
could there be voluntary departures with compensation packages?
I WANT TO LEAVE AND I WOULD BE HAPPY TO GIVE UP MY POSITION.....
I'm bringing this up because I've heard about it, so if there are volunteers who want to leave, it could save the jobs of others.
Has this question been raised during the Works Council meetings???
Has it at least been mentioned by management?-
There is a forum that has been created and you have access to page 8, but you need to register and be careful with the username you choose because the administrator removed all my access because an agent from Soissons named Eric apparently complained that I had chosen Eric as my username, so no more possibility to share with the transcommiens for not much. They are not very nice in this forum, but there is a lot of information; it's a shame.
-
@ericWhy don’t you choose your first name as a username? It would avoid confusion.
I would have reacted like the agent if someone had taken my name and claimed they were from Soissons... it makes sense.

karim offers a relaxant to IBIS ;-)
no, it doesn't make sense to mobilize as long as we do it intelligently!!!
already over thirty hours in sight and negotiation on the annualization postponed to September.
timid progress from management on this last subject, but progress nonetheless....
afterwards, it's the story of the glass being half empty or half full.
the difference between pessimism and optimism!!!
For us, in any case, we will continue to fight on these issues; I don’t know fatalism!!!
To those who understand... -
We need to stay positive; we have pushed back the reduction of working hours, and for now, we are assured that in September everyone will continue with the 35-hour workweek. Let's not get distracted; that's exactly what they are waiting for. Let’s stay united, and everything will turn out fine. The stronger we show ourselves, the more chances we have to preserve our achievements.
-
Hi Niock,
I am happy to read that the agents feel concerned about the situation because I am not sure they realize what is happening due to a lack of information or because of the misinformation that is being given.
During the meeting on 29/07, no one brought up the reduction of working hours because management understood that no union organization would give in on this point.
Moreover, it had already been planned since last week to suspend the discussion due to the vacation of our DSC in August.
Thank you for this mobilization, but do not let yourselves be deceived by those who want to sensationalize.
Do not give our CCM reason when it labels us as "sheep." -
@loulouHey there, I admit that I myself don't know what to think anymore; we're being asked to mobilize and then we're told that everything is blocked until September. I can't even take a day off on Tuesday. We didn't have any new information regarding what was happening in the negotiations. And I do acknowledge that salary plays a big role too.
-
@M02I know that today the meetings were suspended, I suppose the union organizations took the opportunity to prepare some information
we will need to check the notice boards tomorrow, I know that breaks are short and we want and need to relax for 10 minutes but let's take the time to inform ourselves so that we don't do anything foolish.
we cannot mobilize until Friday, many have already lost 2 days of wages
let's wait until we have all the information before going out again so that it is the right time and that the impact is as strong as possible
I wish you a good night and see you tomorrow
