In fact, Transcom wants a reduction in working hours from 35 hours to 30 hours, which is a 15% decrease from the minimum wage, and also wants to annualize working time with breaks ranging from 45 minutes to 3 hours. There are 3 meetings scheduled with union representatives, and if the representatives do not agree with these measures, letters will be sent to us on 11/08/09 to specify the new contract, and we will have until 11/09/09 to respond. If the reduction of working hours is refused, it will result in economic dismissal, and if the annualization is refused, it will lead to dismissal for personal reasons, bearing in mind that approximately 200 jobs will be cut in France if, despite these measures, Transcom does not succeed.

We have two petitions circulating, one against annualization and the other against the 30-hour workweek.... As for CDDs (which includes me), we are not affected by the 30-hour workweek, we are protected by our contract, so CDDs remain at 35 hours... then regarding CDIs, apart from telling you that it's a disaster, it is indeed a social plan, there are still meetings scheduled in Paris, and many refuse to comply with the constraints that will be imposed; I can't tell you much more.... There are two accountants who have been put on the case, one from Transcom and one from the unions, to check the accounts because apparently CARLOS stated that regarding the unclear outflow of money, he cannot provide explanations..... I am still following what is happening at Transcom Soissons, and I find it absurd what they are offering; it really takes people for fools. It's pathetic, and when we see the calls going to the centers in Tunisia or elsewhere, we laugh. I am an SFR customer, and when I call customer service and end up with one of these centers, it disgusts me to be a customer there. They are not even capable of handling our requests correctly. So Transcom has chosen cheaper labor, it is true, but it is at the expense of customers who will choose a more respectful and competent operator. I am sorry, but at least I think the workforce here is more qualified, and it’s always the poor employees who suffer the consequences, never the managers who are already well-paid and receive bonuses thanks to the telemarketers; they just have to cut a part of it, and they will save money...

Anyway, the lady at the reception desk told me that I wasn't the only one, and I was surprised. I thought it was mostly because the air conditioning was acting up and that a lot of people were on leave because of that, lol... But I didn't expect this.  I've skimmed through various comments. Are they planning to make layoffs? I didn't really understand because I saw the TV news in the middle, so I didn't really get it. As for our center manager, she gave us the same spiel, emphasizing that it was pointless to strike since no decision had been made... pffffffffffffffffffffff. As if we were going to wait for their approval... Lol. They are protesting against the proposed adjustment to working hours by management.  No one on the line, everyone at their wit's end. Such is the atmosphere at the Corrèze platform of Transcom. There were 120 workers yesterday afternoon who spontaneously set up a picket line.  To cope with the difficult situation the company is facing, national management announced its intention to reduce and annualize employees' working hours. They would see a drop in their salaries, now based on a 30-hour week instead of 35. These 30 hours would not be fixed, as employees would work between 20 and 46 hours per week and could be forced to take lunch breaks of three hours. Thus, they decided to strike, along with the five other platforms of the company in France, to express their disagreement.  “There is no way out. There have been no negotiations, and there is no other solution. The disguised social plan seems inevitable,” laments Sonia Aurignac (CGT), an employee of the company. SFR on the premises  Yesterday, the managers at the Favars platform were requesting a return to work, a demand that was all the more urgent as Transcom's main client, the telecommunications operator SFR, was on-site in Corrèze.  “They thought we wouldn’t dare. Indeed, after three years working for Transcom, what I remember most are the lies from management, and there are many examples, ranging from the suspension of several TLs just for show to our annual bonus presented during our job interview as being around 1400-1600 euros, which ended up last year at a ridiculous 130 euros (along with a communication telling us they fought for us to get this bonus, while two weeks prior another communication sent to employees thanked us for our commitment because Transcom had made over 670 million euros in profits). I won’t dwell on the vacation bonus initially announced as a 13th month… no comment, this company is frankly disheartening. All I remember today is that we can all prepare to leave like we’re unwanted (except for our dear managers of course). One thing does trouble me, as the amendment to the employment contract that we will receive with the project text is supposed to include what exactly? Just the reduction of working hours or also the annualization? If all THREE conditions are in this amendment, will they need to be signed separately? Because it would be preferable to avoid rejecting the annualization (which would justify a dismissal for personal reasons if I understand correctly) I don’t think I’m the only one who has no confidence in Transcom, and I believe this point deserves clarification. Hello,  just to let you know that the negotiations will resume on September 10. A CCE meeting took place on August 26 to mandate an expert for the negotiations with SFR. The Management refused to answer the elected representatives' questions regarding the SFR contract, claiming confidentiality. However, it seems important to know where we are going before asking the unions to negotiate an agreement. The CCE did not want to give an opinion on the expert due to the lack of information provided. The next CCE will be on September 15 and 16. In January, management froze bonuses and they are trying to avoid deductions when people have been sick, etc.  It seems that the beginning of this year is better, but it is clear that there is still no real consideration and real social progress for employees.  The negotiation for meal vouchers initiated to replace bonuses has still not yielded results.  Belgium is closely following what is happening in France and we thank you for communicating about what’s going on. It’s well known that when things go wrong, we criticize, and we shut up when things go well. The problem is that we don’t measure the good side of things.
