if it's the play performed by Poiret and Serrault that you're looking for, it was never recorded; there are only a few film clips.

It's inaccurate; it was broadcast on TV at the time... so there must be a recording.

Hello, it hasn't been recorded!!! Only a few scenes were filmed (same case for 'Oscar' with Louis de Funès)

No, no need to search any longer: it doesn't exist. The play with POIRET and SERRAULT was never filmed. Only a few excerpts exist (including the famous toast scene) which we unfortunately have to make do with.

A version of the play with CLAVIER and BOURDON may be released on DVD, but it will never match the genius and comic talent of the original creators...

I am also looking for La Cage aux Folles with M. Serrault and J. Poiret!! as a theatrical play! We can see many excerpts on channel 3 on Saturday afternoons during the show Les Grands du Rire! Thank you for your help.
