Hello everyone, so I’m selected for the Wheel of Fortune casting this Wednesday and actually I don’t know at all how it works or the kind of questions they ask us. Is it just a presentation or even general knowledge questions? So if someone knows, please give me a few details. Bye.

    Good evening.

    Actually, I also have to go through the casting. I’ve consulted several forums and in most of them it’s said that you have no chance if you’re not at least a little extravagant, if you don’t sing or you don’t dance. Is that true? Can we not be chosen if we decide to stay natural?

    Hi everyone! I passed the casting on Thursday, April 15 in the afternoon in Marseille and I was selected among the last, but I still have no news or letter. Did anyone on the forum go on the same day that month?

      On April 16th it was really great there was an old funny woman, an excellent girl who sang and danced to Jackson; we stood out a lot, I did Beyoncé, that should work! We don’t have news yet either, we’re crossing our fingers to all be accepted in our session, courage, buzz.

    Well, actually I wasn’t inside when the candidates introduced themselves. But I was told that everyone who looked "normal" wasn't kept... You have to stand out from the others by saying something funny in the introduction to show that you’re at ease...

    If we have already done the casting once, do you think we can audition again even if they tell us not to audition? Are they the same casting people every time?       During the casting they told us that it was forbidden to audition for another casting of the same show... After all, if it’s been a long time since you did it and they don’t remember you, I think it’s fine. On the other hand, if you made it to the final selection (in front of the camera) last time, at that moment you must not let your old casting directors come across your tape...

    Hello everyone,
    here's the situation: like you, I passed the Wheel of Fortune casting, except in July; no one called me, but on a shoot for a show I attended in August, I saw the casting director "Mikael" and the casting director "David." They made me understand that I would certainly be selected for the next recordings.
    I couldn't do the August session recordings because I participated in the show "La Famille en Or" on July 8 (about 6 months delay between two shows is the rule)

    My question: does anyone have a number to contact them (either the casting email or other), because the numbers they contacted me with in July are no longer valid (01 55 ...)

      C est Fait, I went to the casting on 28/11/2008 and I am definitely disgusted with Wheel of Fortune. Let me explain: the casters Arnaud and Annabelle, or rather "Nelly Olson" from The Little House on the Prairie, not only does she resemble him physically but on top of that she has the malice that shines through in her appearance and in her way of speaking. IT MAKES ME PUKE. She dares to say horrible things to people who take the trouble to come, like a young girl who had super pink clothes (flachie) but she asks her if she is used to dressing like that, and another very touching one with her Santa hat who before presenting herself to thank the casters of the reception with coffee, and "NELLY OLSON" deigned to tell her what flaw and well thank you indeed because thanking someone is called flawing, and well thank you I am really glad I was not chosen. And finally my poor Arnaud Either you change production or by pity CHANGE COLLEAGUE because she is repulsive. If by chance Annabelle you come across this message know one thing: if today you are well placed to choose candidates, tell yourself that the participants you humiliate in front of everyone are because of them that you work, because without candidates, no job. But the wheel turns...

        I was cast by Annabelle and not by "Nelly Olson" and I found her super nice, super funny, with a great comeback! You were destabilized but that's exactly their job ... you didn't understand the concept of casting and what they expect. She was cynical, as Dechavanne is on set, and maybe you have no sense of humor and that's perhaps why you weren't chosen... reflect on yourself before insulting people who are just doing their job...

    I, who went through casting and shot the show and Wheel of Fortune, can tell you it remains a very good memory (even if I left with just a modest payout, lol). Go to the casting as you are; don’t play a role because on the day of the shoot you won’t be able to pretend. There are people who are not comfortable in front of the camera or in public, and others who aren’t quite photogenic... after all, your life won’t end if you don’t do Wheel of Fortune, so relax and stay calm and everything will be fine ;)
