Labtec Keyboard

Hello,
I have a Labtec keyboard that I've had for quite some time and it suits me just fine.
However, today the cable got unplugged and since I plugged it back in, it's not working anymore. I want to clarify that this is a simple keyboard and there is no installation software.
Thank you in advance for your help
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

    Good evening,

did you plug the keyboard back in while the computer was on?
    What type of connector (USB?)

I tried to reconnect it while off and on but the same, however there is no USB but a round socket with a flat.

Have you tested the keyboard on another computer?

No, but trying another keyboard is the same.

      So there are several solutions.

-Either your PS/2 port is damaged
      -Or the driver(s) are damaged
-Or the card has been hit

Try first to switch the PS/2 port of the mouse (green) to the keyboard (purple).. sometimes it may work, because the mouse only uses 60% of the capacity of the PS/2 ports

(sorry, I took the liberty of addressing you informally all this time)

I tried it on the green port but nothing (plus, I have the mouse in USB), however, if I plug the keyboard into the purple or green port, it lights up for 1 second and then turns off again.
