Mouse Button 3 (scroll wheel) Solved

Question

Hello,

this may be a simple question for those who have experienced it before, but I couldn't find anything on my side. I've been having this issue for some time now, and I don't know what change I made to cause it.

When I click on the middle button (the scroll wheel) of my mouse, my document window opens! I haven't installed a new mouse, and it's not a special mouse like the G5 or a Razer; it's just a Microsoft 2-button mouse (USB).

I checked in Control Panel under mouse settings, but I couldn't find anything.

Thank you for the "detailed" response lol, but no option allows me to reset everything to default.. I find it really strange, as if a key on the keyboard was stuck and that it was making a combination with the scroll to open my documents.. but no. The keyboard is fine.

I found a solution to my problem. On touslesdrivers.com, I found a driver that I needed to update for my mouse. It installed a little program called "Microsoft Mouse," and I can manage my mouse with that..

But it doesn't help me much, when I select Click Central for my scroll wheel, it opens My Documents and if I set everything to default, it opens all active windows and I can click to select one...

But anyway, I'm going to figure it out, I have the solution close at hand.

I have the same problem!! Mouse 3 isn't working well and I don't know how to fix it... any ideas??

Hello everyone,
to define the action produced for the mouse buttons (1, 2, 3...), you need to go to Control Panel/Mouse/SetPoint settings. A page will open and you can define them.
