Hello,

I've noticed for the past two days that there is a padlock next to the caps lock on my keyboard, which is lit up and displays the number 9 inside...

What is it? What does it do? How can I turn it off?

Thank you for your help
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

It's the Num Lock (which allows using the numeric keypad) you can turn it off by pressing Num Lock at the top left of the numeric keypad
make sure it's my idea so tell the person ok it's working well your computer otherwise you need to change it as Filou said
