J'ai un gros soucis, virus blondhound W32 EP sur fichier Dailin.exe
impossible de réparé, il est en quarantaine, et il faut que je le supprime ?
help, vraiment désespéré .... SVP ?

Bonjour!
Comprend tu l'Anglais? Je ne comprende pas Francais. Do you have a fix for the DAILIN.EXE problem? We have also found it , and McAfee knows nothing about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dennis Berestecki- We have got this virus as well and looks like this is a brand new virus, Bloodhound.W32.EP probably is wrong name given to this virus by Norton. I've partly managed to fix this problem on win2000. Disabled all IP settings, disconnected cable from the network (to stop dailin.exe process), rebooted machine and deleted dailin.exe file from c:\winnt\system32. Maybe some keys will remain in reg., but this is only way I've found at the moment.

This is not Bloodhound.W32.EP, beleive me, our 7 machines (win2000) have been infected with this virus, it apears with the file dailin.exe. But Norton detects it as Bloodhound.W32.EP which is wrong.

According to McAfee, this virus is a variant of the W32.GAOBOT.WORM virus. They have an EXTRA.DAT file that deals with the virus.

Decontaminate Norton (not to create a conflit) just time of scanner your PC with another anti-virus tool (in modeDOS) warning!->Kaspersky scanne one file at the same time but it is very effective - below an anti-virus list with scan on the line free ones

I don't know too much...but Singer and Kaspersky they are good anti-virus tools - test the scans with that

merci beaucoup, ca doit etre grace a la mise a jour de ad-ware (j'avais pas vu qu'on devait en faire !!! rires) enfin pour l'instant c'est nikel !!! vivement que ca dure !
