Hi, I have a problem with the installation of PES 2009 on PC (Vista). I have all the correct configurations, but when the installation starts, 30 seconds later, an error message appears: "Error reading file E:\program files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\img\cv09.img. Please check that this file exists and that you have permission to access it."
I also installed the game on my old PC (XP) and the installation goes smoothly, but the computer isn't powerful enough for me to play it. If someone could help me please, I'm feeling down...

Hello everyone, I also had the same problem with my new computer. (I didn't have it installed on my old one).
During the installation, it kept saying that an image file was missing... Even with administrator rights, nothing worked. So to solve this issue, I copied and pasted the img files from my old computer to my new one (Vista).
Problem solved =D

Hi, Thursday, I was so happy to leave school, went to buy my PES 2009, and bang, installation done. I go to settings to set up my controller, and what happens? Windows can't find C:\Program Files\Konami\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\Settings.exe
I then tried to uninstall it! and it tells me: This action is valid only for products that are already installed xD when I clearly installed it!
What to do?

I have exactly the same problem with the file cv0d... I can't resolve it...
I wrote to Konami who told me that it's because I don't have administrative rights on the computer... yet I am an administrator! I don't know what to do anymore...
Konami told me they can't do anything, that the problem comes from Microsoft... and that I need to contact them...

That's great! My problem is solved! I went to Control Panel, Add or Remove Hardware, then Add New Program, and it worked! =D
Hello, I installed PES 2009 with the service via Orange and I downloaded all the files, but when I start pes_setup, it shows the location where the files are, and it says it cannot be found in C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrateur\Bureau\pes 2009. Please insert the correct disk or select another file.

I have exactly the same problem... Wednesday at noon I'm rushing to buy the game and want to install it on my PC... and the problem is the installation is taking a long time and after 20 minutes "E:\program files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\img\cv09.img", so I try another installation and face another problem... this time the setting.exe file is missing... Yet the installation was successfully completed on my friends' other PC... is it a CD/DVD drive issue? configuration problem? I am using XP SP2... if someone could also help me... Thanks
