Hello,
A few months ago I bought The Sims 2 Double Deluxe. The cheat code bar appeared perfectly. Not long ago I changed my laptop and reinstalled The Sims 2 Double Deluxe. Unfortunately, now the cheat code bar does not want to appear anymore.

Is this normal?? What should I do?? Can someone help me or has anyone been in the same situation as me??

Sorry, but I can't do anything for you MissRock250, except to tell you that once I bought The Sims Triple Deluxe and the game didn't work on my laptop, so I had to return it and later I changed my laptop and then it worked... Hello, my name is Sofia and here is my problem:  Well, I installed my Sims 2 Double Deluxe, and at first it was working, I played... And then I  saved my game and quit, and of course I removed the CD from the computer. Then some time after,  (about 30 minutes later) I put the CD back in the computer and clicked on The Sims 2 Double Deluxe  and then I waited. And then it said: Please insert the original disk, not a backup (4003).  So my question is: How can I play Sims again without uninstalling and reinstalling it and to make this message  disappear so that I can play normally? "Aider la désespérée" (nice username xD) thanks anyway, the problem is that it works on my computer but not on my sister's (even though it works on my other sister's who has the same computer and the same game as her and me) so yes, as you said, technology still has some progress to make.  As for Sofia, I find your problem really surprising, it has never happened to me for any of my video games (and I have to say I have a lot) I really don't know what to tell you, I'm sorry =( But if I find a solution, I'll let you know, don't worry PS: Why don't you want to uninstall and then reinstall it?

Hey hey, so for those who can't display the bar. Some people say you need to press Ctrl (on the left), Shift, and C at the same time, but for me, it doesn't work. It takes a screenshot. I press Ctrl and Shift at the same time and without releasing both keys, I press C. There you go.  I have a question: When I open the bar to enter a code (for example Motherlode), everything goes well and it works. But I entered the code to become a vampire and it didn't work, and a message explaining that there’s an error pops up. I try to re-enter the code, the message doesn't disappear, I try Motherlode, the message doesn't disappear and it doesn't give me any money. Basically, the message (which takes up a good part of the screen) stays and no codes work anymore. Does anyone know how to remove the message and make the codes work again? Bonjour tout le monde ! Comme vous vous en doutez, j'ai un léger souci avec mes SIMS 2 double deluxe sur PC portable. Pour résumer, à chaque fois que j'essaie de faire apparaître la barre des codes de triche à l'aide des touches indiquées, (c'est-à-dire contrôle + SHIFT + C), celle-ci n'apparaît pas. Pourtant sur le PC fixe, la barre s'affiche clairement, alors je n'y comprends plus rien ! Faut-il un code différent pour les PC portables ? Ou fallait-il installer le jeu d'une autre manière ? It's simple and the double deluxe have a night of madness to get a vampire, you don’t need to go see others. Do this: CTRL+SHIFT+C and you will have a code bar at the top, type BoolProp TestingCheatsEnabled true exactly like this and then hit enter. After that, right-click on your Sims and there will be a bunch of stuff in English, go to "more" 2 or 3 times until you find make vampire and there you go. (I know it’s a bit late to respond but I wasn't registered and my method is faster and you can do it anytime.) If you already got your answer that's fine, I would have tried, and if you no longer want to be a vampire, call the matchmaker and then buy vampirocilin.
