The Sims 2: Cheat Code "MaxMotives" Solved

Hello,  I recently bought The Sims 2 and the MaxMotives code doesn't work! Does anyone have another code to fill up the green bar?  Thank you for your replies

Here’s a small list of codes:   Cheat codes  Press Ctrl + Shift + C during the game to open the console, then enter one of the following codes (watch out for uppercase letters):   aging x: Prevents Sims from aging. This can disrupt the smooth flow of the game, and little Johnny will never grow up, so don't activate this code lightly either. (replace x with on or off)   autoPatch x: This cheat code allows you to reactivate notifications informing you of available updates for The Sims 2. Enable autoPatch and go to Custom Content Viewer (the little snowflake button on the Universal Control Panel (UCP) of the neighborhood). If an update is available, a message will ask if you want to download it. (replace x with on or off)   deleteAllCharacters: Delete all Sims (to be used from the neighbors' camera angle)   exit: Close the console   expand: Resize the console   help: List of codes   help x: Display information about the cheat (replace x with the cheat command)   Kaching: + 1,000 Simoleons   maxmotives: Perfect mood for the selected character.   motherlode: + 50,000 Simoleons   moveObjects x: Removes distance limitations for placing objects in Buy and Build mode. Removes constraints for the Hand tool for objects in use or that normally can't be moved. Yes, the MaxMotives code... I've read on several sites that this code works for The Sims 2 to get the green bars.  I also have The Sims Life Stories and this code works on those Sims too!

The answer to your problem Soso (maybe Nissaa too?!): To enter a code, you first need to press Ctrl+Shift+C simultaneously, a window will appear at the top of your screen, there you enter the code you want to input. For example, if you want to add 50000 simoleons to your Sims, you press Ctrl+Shift+C, you enter motherlode, press enter and it's done. Also, if your window doesn't close, which is quite annoying, you type exit and press enter. There you go, I hope that helped you ;)

Salut, moi aussi ça marche pas maxmotives mais sinon fais ça : maj + clic sur un Sims permet entre autres de mettre sa barre au max. Voilà, moi ça marche, je ferai comme ça, j'espère de tout cœur que toi ça marchera aussi.

I might be responding a bit late, but here goes.
Actually, as "Achraf3300" and "simpsons742" said, the code maxMotives only works for the add-ons, not for The Sims 2 in general.
However, there’s an energizing painting that you can download which, when clicked on, makes the "Think of" interaction appear and all the bars go back to green.
Personally, I use it all the time and it's great, especially when you have families; it's annoying when the adult has to sleep and the toddler just woke up—there's nothing better than the painting!

Batou, not necessarily. I don't have The Sims 2: Nightlife, but I only have Apartment Life and Open for Business, and the maxmotives cheat works very well. I think it's in one of the two I mentioned. By the way, you can write the cheat as MaxMotives, maxMotives, MAXMOTIVES, or maxmotives, it works in all formats!

To answer your question clearly, it's normal that this code doesn't work. If you want it to function, buy "Nuit de folie". With this add-on, it will finally work. Otherwise, there is no code that replaces maxmotives.
