Bonjour à tous j'ai un problème je n'arrive pas a avoir internet sur mon pc portable et je pense pas que j'ai les driver wifi pour mon portable !
je vous explique
Avant sur mon pc portable j'avais vista et j'ai eu un virus et il m'avais endommagé des fichier système alors j'ai décidé de le formater, seulement j'avais mal fait mon CD de restauration du coup je ne peux plus l'avoir sur Vista !
J'ai donc décider de télécharger ubuntu mais je n'arrive pas a avoir internet
mon pc est en wifi intégré et j'ai une livebox !

    Ca se corse !! :-)

    Il te faut à tout prix un cable que tu connectes entre la box et le portable. Pas d'autre solution.

    Salut, si c'est vraiment Ubuntu que tu veux, je peux pas t'aider, par contre, moi j'essairais mandriva one live cd, et si t'arrive à te connecter en live cd, tu pourras (si tu le désire) installer mandriva.
    J'ai un packard bell easynote R7331 et la connection wifi marche impeccable

      pour mandriva, l'assistant de connection wifi s'occupe de tout, il capte mon réseau et me demande de rentrer la clé WEP. Sinon il y a aussi l'option NDISWRAPPER mais je n'ai jamais eu besoin de m'en servir.

    Je voudrais savoir quand tu utilise ton cd de restauration, si le pc ne veut rien installer, ou si vista s'installe bien mais qu'aprés celà, le PC ne boot pas sur vista.

    J'ai eu le même cas que toi avec mes cd de restaurations XP que le pc m'avait crée, je suis allé voir un réparateur informatique, ,il m'a dit qu'il y avait souvent ce genre de probléme sur les packard bell du coup comme à l'époque j'en avais besoin pour mon boulot j'ai du racheter XP :-(

    le mieux à faire tu télécharge mandriva one, tu l'utilise en live cd, et puis tu vas dans "configurer votre ordinateur, puis tu vas dans la rubrique internet et tu choisi l'icone installer une nouvelle connection (LAN,ISDN,ADSL, ...) internet.
    Tu choisis sans fil dans le menu ( ou wireless ). Normalement aprés il te propose un pilote ou d'utiliser ndiswrapper, donc tu choisi le pilote qui doit être cocher par defaut.
    Normalement il scanne les réseaux et tu dois avoir le tien qui apparait que tu vas cocher (attention car par défaut il coche l'option editer manuellement)
    Normallement tu arrive sur une page ou le xep ouvert (open WEP) est choisi par défaut et tu n'as plus qu'à renter ta clé wep en dessous.
    ensuite tu choisi automatic ip (BOOTP/DHCP)
    ensuite l'option obtention tu choisi dns serveur de DHCP proposé par defaut
    enfin tu coche démarrer la connection et permettre aux utilisateurs de gerer la connection
    Là il te demande de confirmer le lancement de la connection
    et normalement aprés avoir cliquer sur fin au bout de quelques seconde un message apparait de disant que la connection est OK

    Si celà marche en live cd et que tu clique sur l'installation, tu n'auras même pas besoin de reconfigurer ton installation une fois l'installation fini, il reprendra les parametres que tu lui a rentré
